3,000 Kwara Central Constituents to benefit from Sen Saliu Mustapha’s Mega Empowerment Programme

Senator Representing Kwara Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Saliu Mustapha has reinstated his commitment to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda with a large-scale empowerment program for over 3,000 people in his constituency.

The event tagged _Alubarika Empowerment_ aims to support President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda on economic self-reliance and Governor AbdulRazaq’s efforts for sustainable development in Kwara State.

According to a statement by the Senator’s media assistant, Nasif Sholagberu, the empowerment programme, scheduled for Friday, 28th February 2025, at the Lower Niger River Basin Development Authority in Ilorin, will benefit entrepreneurs, artisans, farmers, and party loyalists who have undergone rigorous training facilitated by the lawmaker.

The empowerment programme offers agricultural inputs, modern tools, fertilizers, and improved seedlings to boost food production and agribusiness. It also provides vocational and business equipment to help artisans and small-scale entrepreneurs to expand their businesses, along with seed capital and financial grants to support micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

Several key stakeholders from Kwara State and across the country are expected to grace the occasion, including the Governor of Kwara State and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON; federal and state legislators; heads of state and federal government agencies; community, religious, and political leaders; and APC party loyalists from across the state.

Senator Saliu Mustapha has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to empowerment and human capital development. Even before his election to the Senate, his Saliu Mustapha Foundation had supported thousands of people through financial assistance, business support, and capacity building programs.

As preparations for the empowerment program gain momentum, stakeholders and beneficiaries anticipate yet another milestone in the Senator’s drive to support economic self-reliance and sustainable development.
