Arewa Unity Forum Condemns Leadership Dishonesty, Demands Transparency and Accountability

The Arewa Unity Forum has expressed deep concern over the widespread culture of compulsive lying, dishonesty, and misuse of public funds that has become synonymous with leadership in Nigeria.
This reprehensible behavior has led to a catastrophic twisting of public trust, eroding the very foundation of democracy.
The Forum condemned the blatant dishonesty and lack of transparency exhibited by leaders, who prioritize their personal interests over the welfare of citizens.
The consistent misuse of public funds has resulted in widespread poverty and inequality, inadequate infrastructure and basic services, erosion of trust in institutions, and undermining of the rule of law.
The Arewa Unity Forum demands that leaders prioritize the needs of citizens, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, and infrastructure.
They called for transparency and accountability in governance, effective management of public funds, and restoration of public trust through honest and selfless leadership.
