Barr. Salome Bake Kisira Foundation sets to empower hundreds of aged women in Baruteen L.G.
The empowerment will cut across political wards in Baruteen LG in memory of her late father, Elder Peter Kisira, former Deputy Governor of Kwara State.
The Barrister Salome Bake Kisira Foundation is pleased to announce its Cash Empowerment Programme for aged women in Baruteen Local Government.
This initiative according to the Press Statement made available to TROVE online MEDIA is designed to provide financial support to vulnerable women in Baruteen community, supplementing the state government’s efforts to alleviate poverty.
The foundation, established by Barrister Salome Bake Kisira who is the First Female Christian Lawyer in Baruteen L.G and a daughter to the late Elder Peter Kisira, former Deputy Governor of Kwara State, she is committed to giving back enormously to her community.
As part of its mission to alleviate poverty and improve livelihood, the foundation seeks to make a positive impact in the lives of aged women in Baruteen L.G through the upcoming empowerment programme among other laudable supports to be unveiled that are targeted at continuing the state and community development efforts of her late father during his lifetime.
The empowerment is scheduled to hold on Thursday, 27th February 2025 at Emir of Okuta Palace, Baruteen, Kwara State by 10:00am.
