Barrister Salome Bake Kisira empowers aged and young women in Baruteen through her foundation

Barrister Salome Bake Kisira Foundation has successfully alleviated hundreds of aged women in Okuta, Baruteen Local Government area of Kwara State through cash empowerment.

The empowerment programme, which was held at the frontage of the Emir of Okuta’s Palace, attracted various aged and young women from various backgrounds in Okuta.

The programme by Barrister Salome Bake Kisira Foundation was organized to honor Former Deputy Governor Elder Peter Kisira and also to keen into the human capital development programme of Governor AbdulRahman Abdulrasaq-led administration in Kwara State.

The beneficiaries of the programme are the most vulnerable, as the programme, organized by Barr. Salome Bake Kisira’s Foundation aimed to improve the lives of women not only in Baruteen Local Government but across the Northern part of the State and beyond.

As a respectful lady, she stopped her moving train to pay a royal visit to Prof. Halidu Abubakar, HRH Emir of Ilesha Baruba, prior to the commencement of the Cash Empowerment for Aged Women in Baruteen LG.

It would be recalled that Barrister Salome Bake Kisira’s humanitarian service through her foundation has been penetrating and will not relent until the vision to alleviate people from the poverty zone is achieved through support of the people.
