Doguwa lambasts Kwankwaso says NNPP Leader is not fit to represent Northerns

Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Petroleum Resources (Downstream) Alhassan Doguwa lambasted Rabiu Kwankwaso, National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), saying he lacks the moral authority to represent northerners

Kwankwaso’s comments, Doguwa said, were “whimsical” and reflected his own feelings, not those of northerners. “He lacks the morality to speak for the people of the North.”

Doguwa’s remarks came in response to Kwankwaso’s assertion that only the NNPP can rescue the north and Nigeria from the current challenges. Kwankwaso made the statement while welcoming APC defectors to the NNPP in Kano state

Nigerians and northerners in particular have suffered enough… no amount of pressure, fear, and deceit will prevent them from changing the situation,” Kwankwaso said.

However, Doguwa, in a press statement, countered, “Kwankwaso is yet to recover from his defeat in the 2023 presidential election. He’s hallucinating about 2027.”

According to him, “The APC will unseat Abba Yusuf, governor of Kano State, in the next election. The disgruntled NNPP government has lost focus and fallen out with the people of Kano State,” Doguwa declared.
