Engr. Bolakale Kawu-Agaka applauds appointment of Prominent Scholar Malami Ubandoma N’Geri to the International Union of Muslim Scholars

The Dan-Iyan N’geri of Ilorin Emirate, Engr. Suleiman Bolakale Kawu Agaka extends his heartfelt congratulations to Fadhilat Sheikh Dr. Abdulqadir Sholagberu, fondly known as Malami Ubandoma of the Ilorin Emirate, on his prestigious appointment as a member of the International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS).

Founded in 2004 with its headquarters in Qatar, the IUMS brings together distinguished scholars globally recognized for their contributions to Islamic jurisprudence, including influential writings and impactful activities within the global Muslim community.

Engr. Kawu, who also holds the title of Hasken Lafiagi of the Lafiagi Emirate, noted that Malami Ubandoma’s appointment is a fitting recognition of his relentless dedication to spreading the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in accordance with “Kitab and Sunnah” throughout the Muslim Ummah and beyond.

Reflecting on the significance of this honor, Engr. Kawu remarked, “The appointment of Sheikh Sholagberu is a well-deserved accolade for a respected scholar whose wisdom and teachings have enriched countless lives across the Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State, and Nigeria as a whole.”

He further added, “Your outstanding record of service and unwavering commitment to the progress of the Ilorin Emirate, especially through the Sheikh Alimi Foundation, have not gone unnoticed. I am confident that, in this new role, you will continue to exemplify integrity, diligence, and innovation—values that have long defined your career.”
