In a surprising turn of events, protesters in Jos, Plateau State continued their demonstrations on Sunday, defying a call for dialogue made by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu just hours earlier.

The nationwide protests, now in their fourth day, have been met with varying responses from government officials and citizens alike.

On Sunday, protesters gathered in the streets for a peaceful Sunday service, showcasing their determination to continue their fight against perceived injustices and bad governance.

Despite the President’s appeal for an end to the protests and a shift towards dialogue, the protesters remained resolute in their pursuit of change.

President Tinubu’s appeal for dialogue came as a response to the growing unrest and violence associated with the protests.

In his thirty eight paragraphs, the president emphasized the importance of finding common ground and working towards a peaceful resolution to the ongoing issues.

However, the protesters remained steadfast in their belief that their voices needed to be heard and their demands for change needed to be met.

The demonstrations, which have spread across the country, have brought attention to various issues, including corruption, inequality, and human rights abuses.

The situation continues to evolve, with both sides engaging in a delicate dance of protest and negotiation. As the world watches, it remains to be seen how the situation will unfold and whether the parties involved can find a path towards peace and reconciliation.
