Kwara LG Election: Oklar Dolls out cash to all Ilorin West PDP candidates, promises more support to the Party

Huge amount of money was today dolled out to all People Democratic Party Candidates across Ilorin West by the former House of Representatives Aspirant, Alhaji Okanlawon Olarewaju.

At the mini ceremony that took place at Ilorin West PDP Local Government Party Secretariat, Alhaji Okanlawon Olarewaju said the money was to support all the party candidates in the forthcoming local government election.

Alhaji Okanlawon Olarewaju, who was represented by the Baboko Ward PDP Chairman, Alhaji Mashood Kayode said the beneficiaries of the money include the Party Chairmanship candidate and all the twelve Councilorship Candidates in Ilorin West.

He urged them to adopt new style in their campaign especially at the grassroots level, saying PDP is only party that can address the plight of the masses.

Alhaji Okanlawon Olarewaju, who is also the Chief Executive Officer, OKLAR Petroleum however promised to continue to be supportive to the party’s progress and development to ensure all round victories in the forthcoming local election and the twenty-twenty-seven general elections.

In his remarks, the PDP Chairman, Ilorin West Local Government, Alhaji Abdulkadir Issa, while appreciating the donor of the money, said the development would assist all the candidates in their campaign.

The Chairman however called on other Party stakeholders to emulate Alhaji Okanlawon Olarewaju and others who had been contributed meaningfully to the party.

Speaking on behalf of other beneficiaries, the Councilorship Candidate of Adewole Ward, Comrade Mufutau Aromaradu and the Councilorship Candidate for Warah/Osin/Egbejila Ward, Arc. Ayuba Musbau Kwau lauded the support of donor, and assured good representation of their people.

They however thanked all the leadership of the Party under Senator Bukola Saraki for their commitment and determination towards the victory of the party in the future elections.
