Late ACP Abdul Sulu-Gambari Was a Fine Police Officer – Saraki
***Commiserates with Emir of Ilorin
Former President of the Senate, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki has expressed shock over the sudden death of Mr. Abdul Sulu-Gambari, an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP). The deceased was a Prince of the Alimi royal family in Ilorin.
In a statement signed by his Press Officer on Local Matters, Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir, Saraki noted that the demise is a huge loss to the Ilorin Emirate, the Nigeria Police, and Nigeria as a whole.
He commiserated With the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, the entire Ilorin Emirate and the Nigeria Police on this sad occurrence.
“The death of ACP Abdul Sulu-Gambari was not only sudden but shocking and saddening.
“He was one of the finest officers in the nation’s police and a Prince who brought honour and dignity to the Emirate.
“He’ll be remembered for his uprightness, diligence, and capacity as a police officer everywhere he worked, including as the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, at the National Assembly, where he served between 2015 and 2018.
“I commiserate with His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, the Ilorin Emirate and the immediate family of the deceased. I pray to Allah to uphold the family and also grant the late Abdul a place in Aljanah Firdaus”, Saraki stated.
