National Hijrah Organisation of Nigeria Urges President Tinubu to Alleviate Economic Hardship, Advises Kwara L.G Executives to Govern with Fear of Almighty Allah and Bring Government Close to the People
The National Hijrah Organisation of Nigeria has called on Nigerian leaders to come up with robust economic policies that can reduce the suffering and economic hardship facing Nigerians.
The call was made at monthly meeting of the organisation held at the premises of late Justice Abdulkadir Orire house, GRA Ilorin.
In a statement jointly signed by the National Chairman, Professor Badmas Olanrewaju Yusuf and the Secretary Alhaji Abubakar Imam Ayinla urged president Bola Ahmed Tinubu to find solutions to the economic hardship facing Nigerians most especially when Nigeria as a country is marking her 64th Independence Anniversary.
The organisation advised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to let his 64th independent anniversary gift be a relief from hardship in economy.
On Local Government Election held in Kwara State two weeks ago, the organisation called on all elected Chairmen and Councillors to rule with fear of Almighty Allah and bring government very close to the people.
Local government administration played a major role in community development.
The Organisation also congratulated Sheikh Ibrahim Zakariyah on his appointment as the new Chief Imam of Iwo land in Oke Ero Local Government area of Kwara State and Sheikh Barrister Adam Olohuntoyin Jamiu on his turbaning as the Chief Imam of Shao, Moro Local Government Area of Kwara State, urged them to uphold the teachings of Allah and traditions of prophet Muhammad.
The Organisation called on new Chief Imams to relate well with their congregation and also consult them in decision making.
