Professor Lateef Folorunsho Oladimeji Appointed Sixth Substantive Vice-Chancellor of Al-Hikmah University
The Governing Council of Al-Hikmah University has appointed Professor Lateef Folorunsho Oladimeji as the institution’s sixth substantive Vice-Chancellor, acknowledging his unwavering dedication to academic excellence, institutional development, and faith-inspired scholarship.
Professor Oladimeji’s extensive experience in academia and administration makes him an ideal candidate for the position. He has held various roles at Al-Hikmah University, including pioneer Head of the Department of Islamic Studies, first Registrar and Secretary to Council, and Director of various centres.
His scholarly achievements are highlighted by his 2022 Inaugural Lecture, which showcased his intellectual prowess and presented a vision for cross-border dialogue grounded in Islamic values.
