Kwara SUBEB Application: Adaramaja Reveals Modalities, Directs Applicants to Appear at LGAs on Thursday
Chairman of the Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Prof. Sheu Raheem Adaramaja has revealed the latest updates and modalities for the upcoming teachers’ recruitment process.
Professor Adaramaja who appeared on a live radio programme today disclosed that the exercise is to fill the vacancies in basic schools across the 16 Local Government Areas of Kwara State.
According to Adaramaja, a total of 1,611 positions will be filled, consisting of 695 for B.Ed, 605 for NCE, and 311 for non-teaching staff (security and driver) roles.
He said there will be no online registration for applicants, instructed all applicants to appear in person at their respective SUBEB Local Government Areas to submit their credentials and documents.
Applicants are required to report to their designated LGAs on Thursday, September 5, 2024, by 9 am promptly.
Kwara SUBEB boss said Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certificate is listed as one of the requirements, and bio-data forms must be boldly typed using 16-point fonts, clearly indicating the applicant’s teaching subjects.
The following courses will be considered for the SUBEB recruitment: NCE or B.Ed in Mathematics and NCE or B.Ed in Primary Education, NCE or B.Ed Business Education, NCE or B.Ed Human kinetic or PHE, NCE or B.Ed Islamic Studies, NCE or B.Ed Computer science, NCE or B.Ed CRK, Agriculture
NCE or B.Ed Business Education, NCE or B.Ed Languages (Yoruba, french & Arabic)
He concluded by giving warning to the below applicants not to bother to appear for the exercise such as ND, HND, B.A, B.Ed History, geography, guidance and counseling, B.Ed physics, chemistry, biology economics, accounting, political science.
This announcement comes as a welcome development for aspiring educators in Kwara State, providing them with opportunities to contribute to the state’s education system and enhance the quality of basic education for students across the state.
