S.O. Foundation Launches Second Phase of Scholarship Program for 100 Indigent SS1 and JSS1 Students in Ilorin South local Gov’t Area in Kwara State
In a touching demonstration of Kwara Born Benevolent, Alhaji Rilwan Sulyman Olawale, Chairman of S.O. Foundation launched the second phase of the S.O.F Scholarship for indigent fresher students in Ilorin South Local government area in Kwara State, extending across various public schools in the state capital
In his statement, Alhaji Rilwan Sulyman Olawale highlighted that the first phase of the scholarship program, implemented in September, benefited over 700 JSS2 and SS2 indigent students. He emphasized that S.O. Foundation aims to support the Renewal Hope Agenda of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the Kwara State Government under the leadership of Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq CON, in reforming the standard of education sector. This initiative seeks to support less privileged students in various communities, believing that improving the standard of education will lead to a better future for the students and the future of society, as “education today means the betterment of tomorrow.”
Alhaji Olawale stated that the eligible students for this second phase are elite students of JSS1 and SS1, and the socio-economic status of this program is open to less privileged students actively enrolled in public schools. S.O. Foundation is pleased to announce that 100 Ilorin South indigent SS1 and JSS1 students will benefit from this second phase of the scholarship program.
