IEYDA Leadership Embarks on Leadership Training at Research Enterprise System (RES), Abuja

The leadership of Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA), under the auspices of His Royal Highness, The Emir of Ilorin, paid a strategic visit to the Research Enterprise System (RES) in Abuja for an intensive leadership training session tagged “Strengthening Community Based Organization for Nation Building.”

The Workshop served as a platform to understand the contextual challenges that IEYDA encounters as a community based organization. It also offered opportunity to explore actionable solutions with a view to catalyzing sustainable impact in Ilorin Emirate. The engagement is part of the planned Strategic Leadership Course for Innovative Community Development to be held at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru.

The Executive Director of Research Enterprise Systems (RES), Professor Aremu Fatai Ayinde, reiterated the commitment of RES to support community based actors with cutting edge skills and techniques in consonance with global best practices.

As a mark of recognition for his exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to youth development, the RES conferred an Award of Excellence on the National President of IEYDA, Alh. Mohammed Uthman Jagunmo.

The IEYDA team under the distinguished guidance of its National President, Alhaji Mohammed Uthman Jagunmo expressed appreciation to Research Enterprise Systems for putting together a uniquely customized course on innovative community development. He extended his appreciation to the entire management of RES for the hospitality and insightful engagement, reaffirming its resolve to continue advancing the vision of youth empowerment across the Ilorin Emirate.
