Ilorin Emirate Youth Lauds Durbar Chairman Committee, Engr. Suleiman Alapasanpa for acute clarification over pavilion project, also Governor AbdulRazaq, and Emir of Ilorin for the act of Promoting Unity and Due Process over the Pavilion Project

The Ilorin Emirate Integrity Youth Vanguard (IEIYV) has commended the Chairman of the Ilorin Durbar Committee, Engr. Suleiman Yahaya Alapansapa, for his clarification regarding the proposed pavilion project at the forecourt of the Emir’s Palace.

In a statement signed by its National President, Mall. Sheriff Alaburo, Ilorin Emirate Integrity Youth Vanguard (IEIYV) and made available to TROVE online MEDIA noted that the Durbar Committee’s explanation has brought calm to the community, reaffirmed the commitment to due process, and demonstrated leadership in preserving the unity of Ilorin Emirate.

The group called on the general public to remain peaceful and allow relevant authorities to take the necessary steps before any further work on the project proceeds.

IEIYV also praised the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for his swift and decisive intervention in halting the pavilion’s construction until proper procedures and approvals are duly followed.

According to the youth Association, the Governor’s action reflects his dedication to public safety, lawful governance, and respect for the cultural values of the Ilorin Emirate. Mallam Sheriff Alaburo described the Governor’s leadership as a reassurance to citizens that public interest remains a top priority under his administration.

Furthermore, the Ilorin Emirate Integrity Youth Vanguard (IEIYV) saluted His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, for his wisdom, patience, and exemplary commitment to peace and the rule of law amidst the ongoing discussions on the pavilion project.

The group noted that the Emir’s dignified and lawful approach continues to inspire the people of Ilorin Emirate, strengthening unity and upholding the traditions that bind the community together.

IEIYV reaffirmed its support for the Emir, the Durbar Committee, and the Kwara State Government in their collective efforts to safeguard the interest of the Emirate and ensure that every developmental project aligns with legal, cultural, and communal expectations.
