KWSG Warns Residents Against Patronizing Unauthorized Meat Selling Points.

The public has been cautioned by the Kwara State Government not to support illicit meat sales locations that dispose of meat at a reduced price.

This is happening soon after some individuals claim that thirty cows were mysteriously killed at the CAILS region in Ilorin.

Speaking through the Director of Veterinary Services, Doctor Abdullateef Olugbon, on behalf of the State Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Mrs. Oloruntoyosi Thomas stated that the Ministry had started raiding illegal veterinary and meat facilities in the State in order to protect public safety.

According to Doctor Olugbon, the government is prepared to protect citizens’ safety, particularly by making sure that the meat they eat is safe.
