Nigerian Defender Muhammad Abdullahi Signs First Professional Contract with Czech Club FC Vysočina Jihlava

Nigerian teenage defender Muhammad Oladipupo Abdullahi has signed his first professional contract with Czech National Football League side FC Vysočina Jihlava, marking a significant milestone in his football career.

The 18-year-old centre-back earned the contract after impressing the club’s coaching staff during its pre-season preparations, featuring in all of the team’s friendly matches. Club director Lukáš Vaculík said Abdullahi stood out from the first day of his trial, praising his maturity, communication skills, and strong football education.

Abdullahi, who previously developed at the Remo Stars Academy in Nigeria, has also represented the Nigerian U-16 national team, making three appearances. The Czech club believes the talented defender has the potential to progress beyond the country’s second division.

The move marks Abdullahi’s first professional contract in Europe and represents another success story for Nigerian youth football as young talents continue to secure opportunities on the international stage.
