Senator Mustapha Launches NBAIS Scholarship for Arabic and Islamic Students

The lawmaker representing Kwara Central in the National Assembly, Senator Saliu Mustapha, through his foundation, the Saliu Mustapha Foundation, has approved a fully funded National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS) scholarship for deserving students of Arabic and Islamic Studies in his constituency.
This initiative, which is the first of its kind in Kwara State’s history, reaffirms Senator Mustapha’s unwavering commitment to inclusive education and the upliftment of all learning sectors.

According to a statement issued by the Secretary of the foundation’s Education Committee, Comrade Yakub Ishowo, the scholarship covers full registration for the National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS) examination, allowing qualified students to pursue their academic dreams without financial barriers.

Eligible applicants include students currently studying Arabic and Islamic Studies in Kwara Central, as well as candidates preparing for the National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS) examination.

Interested applicants are advised to submit their applications via the official website of the Saliu Mustapha Foundation at www.saliumustaphafoundation.org on or before the deadline of Tuesday, May 7, 2025.
