Arewa Unity Forum Condemns Delegates’ Role in Party Candidate Selection

The Arewa Unity Forum has expressed its strong opposition to the role of delegates in choosing party candidates in Nigeria.

H.E Nasiru Umar Dutsinma onbehalf of the organization believes that delegates often prioritize personal gains over the interests of the people, undermining the democratic process.

The Arewa Unity Forum urges the people of the Northern Region to take consistent action against the delegates’ mischievous actions, which subdue the people’s interests and jeopardize their confidence in the electoral process.

In their opinion, delegates are the major problem facing leadership and governance in Nigeria. They mislead the people’s goodwill, leading to the election of unqualified leaders who prioritize their personal ambitions over the people’s interests.
