The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Kwara State Chapter, has honored Olusegun Olusola Adewara known as Sholyment, the Publicity Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), for his significant contributions to the social, economic, and political development of the State.
The recognition was bestowed upon him during one day stakeholders dialogue titled “”Economic Hardship: the roles of the Student leaders in driving positive change and policy implementation was attended by notable figures such as The State PDP Secretary Mallam Abdullah AbdulRahman Kayode, Hon. Toyin Aremu, the Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Others are the Press officer on political and local matters to the former Senate President, AbdulGaniyu AbdulQadir, Public Analyst, Mr. Joel Afolayan, and Comrade Lanre Osho, who is the Deputy Coordinator and Projects Tracking Officer of Enetsud among others.
Olusola Adewara expressed gratitude to NANS for acknowledging his efforts. He emphasized his commitment to continuing his contributions to the state’s development.
Olusola Adewara also highlighted the importance of past union leaders in driving policy and contributing to economic prosperity and the advancement of democracy in Nigeria.
